It makes me cringe a little that it’s already been almost three weeks since I last blogged. I’m terribly sorry for being absent from the blogosphere, but to be honest, November has been quite a month for me to unplug. Apollo Robbins and I finished working on a movie project in New Orleans and jetted right off to Puebla Mexico where he charmed and swindled the Latin American audience. After that, we spent the next 10 days traveling throughout Peru, and I had what is no doubt one of the most transformative experiences of my life at Machu Picchu (photos and musings to come soon…)
It’s been a little hectic since we’ve been back in the states and in true eco-tourism fashion, I confess that I haven’t wanted to really get out of my ever-soft yoga pants and organic cotton hoodie. When I did manage to put on something decent, the Peruvian mood still tugged at my heart to wear a lot of nature-inspired florals. This Zara dress ends up being perfect for running holiday errands in a relaxed post-vacation mood. The ladylike silhouette is comfortable and the prints are winter-friendly but still cheerful.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the family and I’m so excited to share the Peru experience with you so stay tuned!
