The graceful curve of an aging Japanese bridge is nothing short of pure art. Form, function, spiritual significance – there is so much thought and consideration that infuses every detail of these Zen-inspired bridges.
The Mr. loves Japanese architecture and insisted I stood for some photos on the beautiful Japanese bridge in old town Hoi An. It was a very warm day, the air hung still on the bridge, adding an even more contemplative atmosphere to the classic design. We silently observed the colorful history and nations that have left their mark on this small town, and felt grateful for the gorgeous relics they left behind.
