a garden in chicago

Every time I’m in Chicago I never feel like there’s enough time to wander the city or visit with family.  I used to spend all my summers here so I was overjoyed to be coming back while it’s still warm this past visit.  Memories of the gentle breeze on Lake Michigan’s front fill the rooms of my nostalgia while I’m arranging these photos.  Even though it was very hot this last time, we found a most picturesque garden in Grant Park for me to get snap-happy.

Finally had a chance to wear this Zara red polka dot blazer I love so much.  I paired it with an old Bebe summer dress.

Lately I’ve been wearing these clear strappy Tory Burch sandals nonstop.  They go with everything.

A clutch made from newspaper and fabric gold trim I found on the streets of SOHO, Anne Klein watch and a Buddha bead bracelet gifted from a friend

My cousin Michelle with whom I spent my childhoods with, in Vietnam, in California, in Chicago.  There’s nothing like family.
